Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design is reimagining Nike’s neuroscience-backed footwear with the Mind 002 “Particle Grey.” Ditching the standard synthetic upper for a premium Flyknit construction, Fujiwara brings his signature “industrial minimalism” to the recovery-focused silhouette. The shoe retains its core innovation: 22 independent foam nodes in the footbed that engage neural pressure points to promote relaxation. The “Particle Grey” colorway is monochromatic and understated, accented only by the iconic double-lightning bolt logo on the heel and “FRAGMENT CONCEPT TESTING” typography on the midsole. Priced at $140 and scheduled for a Spring 2026 release, the collaboration bridges the gap between high-concept streetwear and therapeutic performance technology.
